GENERAL INFORMATION:
It is a Water-based Textile Ink which, will air-cure at room temperature to obtain optimum wash resistance 24 hours after printing. Inks are formulated for printing on cotton, cotton/synthetic blends and many synthetic fabrics. They are not recommended for Nylon or fabrics which are treated with water-repellent coatings. Inks have no flash point and are made from Lead-Free raw materials.
OPACITY:
Inks have good opacity and may be printed on medium-colored grounds. White may be printed as a separate color or may be added for increased opacity and overlays. When air-cured at room temperature, will diminish bleeding effects from synthetic blend garments.
DRYING AND CURING:
Ink will set sufficiently for light stacking within minutes after printing. They will then continue to cure at room temperature. Wash tests should not be carried out until 24 hours after printing. To speed up operations prints may be conveyor-dried at approximately 250F (120C) for 2 minutes.
SCREEN FABRIC:
Monofilament polyester meshes ranging from 80T to 110T are recommended.
STENCILS:
Water-Resistant Photographic Emulsions should be used.
WASH-UP:
Water is used for cleaning screen immediately after printing. Mesh clearer/Detergent, or a commercial detergent containing at least five percent ammonia is recommended where ink may have dried hard in the screen. |
